Luke Kratky overcame significant childhood adversity to build a distinguished career across military operations, logistics, and defense contracting. He has deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait, and led logistics for the 2010 Haiti earthquake response—coordinating movement of 6,000 personnel and 10,000 tons of cargo.

He founded Sherpa Insights to bridge the gap between high-level strategy and tactical execution for defense, geospatial, and IT firms. His track record includes managing a $23M NGA portfolio, advising on $947M contract captures, and transforming the Afghan Army's first regional logistics command to full operational independence in just 10 months.

Today, he advises senior leadership at NGA, the Intelligence Community, and the Department of Defense on critical national initiatives—from Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing to geospatial intelligence modernization.
